Elaine, Micah and the kids went up to Vancouver this last weekend to experience the Olympics. They had a great time. Didn't see any events, but there was plenty to do.
Julia had a pajama party for her birthday and they decorated pillow cases. She wanted a sleep over, but I thought she was too young, so this was our compromise.
Julia got her ears pierced for her birthday. She was so excited. Afterward she was in a little shock, but she got over it pretty quickly. Watching the Super Bowl with some friends and family.
This was probably the worse Happy Birthday song ever sung to Grandmom. We did sing to her again but I didn't get that one on video.
Prudence and Lucian Isaiah and Julia with Grandmom Happy Birthday
Lucian watching everything very closely. Isaiah and Julia were helping hand Grandmom her presents. Caleb enjoying some cake. Anthony enjoying some cake.
Yesterday we went hiking with some friends to Lake 22 on Mt. Baker. The kids did great. It was a 5 mile hike with an elevation gain of slightly over 1300 ft. I think the thing that kept them motivated to go to the top was the snow next to the lake. It was amazing. The temperature was probably 80 degrees and the kids loved playing in the snow.
