Yesterday we went hiking with some friends to Lake 22 on Mt. Baker. The kids did great. It was a 5 mile hike with an elevation gain of slightly over 1300 ft. I think the thing that kept them motivated to go to the top was the snow next to the lake. It was amazing. The temperature was probably 80 degrees and the kids loved playing in the snow.
